Burak Unaldi

Burak Ünaldı, who began working in the finance markets in 1998, has held positions as a capital markets investment specialist, futures trading manager, and portfolio manager in various brokerage firms and banks. Following these roles, he served as the Chief Advisor to ITKIB. Burak Ünaldı actively participates in numerous civil society organizations and currently maintains memberships in the Advisory Board of the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralytics Association, the Retail Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and the Retail Commission of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD). With a background of 7 years writing economic articles for GQ and Esquire magazines, Ünaldı hosted and produced the 'Lumbago' program for 3 years on Rock FM, and served as a content consultant and co-host for the 'Ekospor' program for 2 seasons on Bloomberg HT. Selected as one of the "Future Young Leaders" by the Atlantic Council, Burak Ünaldı represented Turkey in the Young Turkey/Young America program, encompassing Minneapolis, New York, and Washington DC. Furthermore, Burak Ünaldı is a professional musician and a founding member of the rock band Gripin. Currently, he holds the position of Secretary General of the Turkish Shopping Centers and Retailers Federation, the umbrella organization for organized retail in Turkey, and delivers "Retail Ethics" lectures at five universities as part of the "Ethical Leadership Academy."
