Actor, presenter and voice over artist born in 1977. After completing his secondary and high school education at Saint Benoit French High School, he graduated from the Department of Geophysical Engineering, Istanbul University.

He stepped into his career as an actor via the drama classes that enabled him to meet Ali İpin, an actor at the State Theaters of Istanbul and he received trainings on ‘Acting and Arts’ at the Studio Players Theatre Company helmed by Şahika Tekand. Immediately afterwards, he completed his graduate studies at the Theatre Department of Haliç University. Since 2008, he has acted in many tv series, theatre plays and feature films.

Maintaining his professional career in the field of communication in addition to acting, Özgür Özgencer started his engagement in the media at the then Hürriyet Group of Magazines, where he first worked as a translator, then as a writer and editor during his college years. In this period of seven years, he worked at the best magazines of their field such as Blue Jean, İstanbul Life, Elele, Max, Amica.

Özgencer started his broadcasting career at Radio 2019 in the same period; he has been preparing and presenting the program titled ‘Countdown & New Releases’ for the Future Generaton 93.7 radio.

In addition to being the promotional and program-related voice of Dream TV where he has been preparing and presenting several programs between 2007 and 2011, Özgür Özgencer also works as a voice over artist for commercials.

Offering trainings in the fields of ‘Dictation’ and ‘Public Speech’, Özgür Özgencer has been working as a master of ceremonies / presenter at special occasions such as award ceremonies, launches, events, conferences and festivals. Some of the brands at the events of which he worked as a presenter and moderator are as follows: Vodafone, Pegasus Havayolları, Anadolu Efes Spor Kulübü, Japan Tobacco International, Algida, Seranit, Unilever, Cadbury-Kent.

Also acting in international projects as both an actor and presenter, Özgür Özgencer speaks French and English fluently and his Italian is at beginner level.
